Glittering stitches for every one of my whims

                                                          you entertained

The arms are warm and long

A row for every time

You wrapped me in a hug 

I knit you a sweater

You'll see silvery thread

And inch for every monster

You chased out of my head

I knit you a sweater

Made of fiber as soft

As the softness you showed me . . .

Won't you even open the box?

Do you fear it's empty?
